Not that I know from personal experience
1) You can’t want to be one.
2) Go to Urban Outfitters and some thrift stores. You can now only buy clothes that cost under 5 dollars or over 50.
3) Buy a pair of oversized headphones and a record player.
4) Make sure you have a mac
5) Go to Starbucks to “work”
6) Go to poetry slams
7) Find some new music. If the band has a myspace, they are automatically too mainstream.
8) Spend some time finding yourself and fighting the system using the money in your trust fund.
9) Smoke.
That’s all I have at this time. I have a underground concert to go to now.
I’d love to tell you.
I really would.
But then other people would know about them, too.
It’s something I have come to terms with by buying lots of scarves at Urban Outfitters.
The marriage institution is a huge part of the System I am currently fighting against as you would learn if you read the novel I am currently writing on my mac at Starbucks.
But straw fedoras are definitely something I can get behind.

I am not Hipster. Everyone knows about Hipsters. Hipsters are extremely mainstream. That is just unacceptable.
